The perfect chip-off won the Links Technology Cup

The foursome of Allen Steffens, Bob Prihoda, George Furman and Andy Mack won the Fourth Annual Links Technology Cup golf outing benefiting the Schaumburg Park Foundation.

The foursome tied for first with 19 under par against Matt Sudaz, Ann Jenkins, Steve Tolzien and Troy Butler. Butler and Mack competed in a chip-off for winner on the 27th hole with Mack closest to the hole.

Schaumburg Park District Board President Sharon DiMaria won the Woodfield Putt of the Day with a 36-foot putt on the 13th hole while Woody Woods hit an 18-foot, 4-inch putt to come in second.

Daily Herald Closest to the Pin winners were Joe Darmstadt (#17), Matt Nakanishi (#6), Rick Harold (#21) and Steve Sirota (#26). Paul Heflin (#9), Michael Lissner (#10), Andy Mack (#18) and Ryan Zeman (#27) were winners of the Longest Drive. Rick Harold (#5), Dave Piet (#15) and Johnny Hoffa (#23) were the winners for Straightest Drive.
